A “funeral” for Nicki Minaj is being planned for October 15 at The Brass Rail in San Diego.
The event is being organized around drag performers and will reportedly involve a mock funeral for Nicki, who is very much alive. And yes, we’ve seen this type of death-themed stunt before, including when Remy Ma and others used funeral imagery toward Nicki during their 2017 feud.
If you’re in San Diego, concerns about the event can be directed to The Brass Rail directly. For concerns about the event, contact The Brass Rail at 619-203-2047 or the San Diego Police Department’s non-emergency line at 619-531-2000 or 858-484-3154.

This isn’t Nicki’s first time speaking up about issues affecting Nigerians. She continues to use her platform to amplify these concerns and is currently the only A-list artist publicly speaking up about the situation.
