🚨 NEW: A former New York prison guard has been sentenced to 25 YEARS behind bars after beating a 22-year-old inmate to death.

Authorities say inmate Messiah Nantwi was struck 69 times with batons, fists, and kicks. Prosecutors say guard Jonah Levi stomped on his head while he lay defenseless.

Judge during sentencing:

“You were fist-bumping, laughing, and joking while he was dying.”

Levi received the maximum sentence: 25 years in prison + 5 years supervision after release.

All other officers involved took plea deals.

🚨 BREAKING: A man brutally stabbed a 66-year-old woman to death on a public train in Atlanta in broad daylight.
The suspect, John Elijah Matthews, walked up to Margaret Swan sitting alone and stabbed her in the throat. When she screamed and tried to get up, he held her down and stabbed her 18 MORE times. He then threw her to the floor and stood over her until she died.
Police have identified him but are NOT releasing the shocking CCTV footage. 😱
