@JOJOsaysbreee Totally get it! I feel like I'm just mooching off people for bring smaller. I just want more quality friends to hang with, I don't care about the rest 😭
People need to stop asking others about their reproductive choices and/or shaming them for being childless
I AM barren. I assume most people who asked that question didn’t expect it to be true - and they certainly didn’t consider how hurtful it would be to me to be asked it. /4
“If somebody doesn't help me, I'm going to die," she recalls wailing, watching doctors and nurses pass her by.
"Somebody said to me, 'I don't know what you expect me to do,'" she said. "'You're a healthy 21-year-old young female.'"
This is exactly what happened to me at 24… 🧵

[your Emotional Support Canadian is online]
you are going to be okay
you're a pure conscious entity currently strapped to a howler monkey
sometimes the monkey is scared and stressed; that is a tough experience
but you are a good person
and you're going to be okay
@JOJOsaysbreee You are fearless in being yourself and sticking to what you know you deserve in life -- you are someone other women look up to 💜
You get shit done!
I just watched the Pope and Reverend make amends on the dance floor, intimately..
Also my fishnets be big ballin so much from dancing, I had to cut them free.
Thick thighs and saving lives on this dance floor with thoughts and prayers.
@Cahlaflour Literally one of the worst pains I've ever experienced. They tell you all these magical wonderful things about it -- that you'll only feel a little "pinch" and some "pressure". Then have the audacity to act like you're weird for crying and try to kick you out after five minutes.
Today I had an IUD put in…
I’ve told you all about my journey with health over the years so I won’t sugarcoat it.
It’s the single most painful thing I’ve been through. I yelped. I had to fight to avoid blacking out. I threw up because I was in so much pain. I couldn’t physically get up to leave the doctor’s office for about an hour afterwards.
I was so thankful to have a doctor that prescribed me a medication beforehand to help soften my cervix and numbed part of it with injections. Unfortunately you’re so far up in there that they can’t get numbing to your uterus. If I had to describe it, it felt like a javelin being shoved up through your vagina into your stomach. Blindingly painful. It takes your breath away.
It was a harder procedure for me because of my previous LEEP on my cervix. (We cut a cone of my cervix out due to bad cells and it grew back but it’s a lot of scar tissue now). We talked a lot about that after. Doctor said it would have been easier for someone without that done.
I’ve already told everyone I know I don’t think I could do it again. Luckily this thing should be good for the next 8 years and I can reassess things then.
Why am I telling you this? Idk. Im in shock. It was traumatic. My brain will make sure I forget the pain.
Maybe other people had an easier time. Maybe they didn’t. I just want people to have realistic expectations going to get one. It baffles me that we don’t put women under anesthesia for this.
Women are fucking warriors.
Aces are valid in queer spaces.💜
Since its Ace week, I think its time to share this again. I edited the little note section at the bottom to be bigger and tweaked some of the wording a bit to hopefully make it more clear.
Anyway, aces are hot and I love yall!!
I don’t have time or patience anymore for people who don’t deserve my friendship.
If you are immature, petty, or purposely hurt me/those around me, I WILL rid you of my life completely. And I will not care at all.
I’m a damn good fucking friend and I deserve better.
