Today, the 8th Grade students toured Madison High School and SIUE East St. Louis Charter High School. They learned about earning credits, the exciting TRIO program, and met teachers and fellow students. They returned to awesome artwork prepared by their 6th grade friends.

The Venice Elementary Talent Show was a huge success! Hit performances included Six in the Mix, the Gymnastics Twins, Scuba, and Candy Rain. ✨️

Middle School Field Trip to Godfrey Nature Institute .....
It was a beautiful day to hike, build a shelter, build a fire from scratch, identify and taste edible, wild plants, identify rocks using the scientific method, and crack open geodes!

From Mrs. Cullen, Grade 5 teacher..... Sometimes you have to stop and celebrate students who consistently make good choices!  The 5th grade had a party for Jdon and Zaryiah .

6th grade was learning about genetics and heredity. We practiced using punnett squares to determine physical traits using jelly beans then even extracted DNA from a strawberry!
