⭕️ NEW: Israeli prison guards celebrated in real time as Palestinian prisoner Thaer Abu Asab was beaten severely and killed, according to WhatsApp messages and an indictment detailed by Haaretz.
“You’re going to be proud of me, of my shift. After what happened, the count took two hours and 23 minutes. Draw your own conclusions,” one female guard wrote to her partner, who was also a guard.
“They’re doing CPR in the clinic right now, baby! God willing, that son of a thousand whores will die.”
Another guard sent an excited update: “Holy shit, what a count. We fucked them up so bad.”
A third texted a friend: “What an insane count. There’s never been anything like it. We poured cheese on them, cracked some eggs [the Hebrew word for eggs is also slang for testicles]. So much blood in the wings.”
She then added: “OMG, they’re doing CPR on a prisoner because we beat him. He’s dead. Listen, it’s funny how it all happened in an instant: Boom, count. Boom, dead prisoner.”
Abu Asab was a Fatah member serving a 25-year sentence for attacks against Israel. He was pronounced dead at Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva after being taken there that evening. The indictment says the severe beating injured his heart and caused his death.
Last week, nearly three years after Abu Asab was killed, prosecutors filed a rare indictment against 12 Israel Prison Service guards. They are accused of beating him and eight other Palestinian prisoners in Cell 6 of Wing 24 at Ketziot Prison as retaliation for reports that Druze soldiers had been killed in the war. Those reports turned out to be nothing more than a rumor, Haaretz reported.
The assault began after Abu Asab asked a guard whether there was a ceasefire. A prisoner told investigators that approximately 15 guards and 15 members of the prison’s Keter tactical unit entered while the prisoners were kneeling with their hands over their heads and faces down. They beat everyone with batons for approximately five minutes, later unleashed dogs and shouted, “No ceasefire.”
Abu Asab was beaten the worst. Witnesses said he was left unconscious and bleeding, his face blue and his hands covered in blood.
The investigation also uncovered evidence that such violence was routine, known to senior commanders and concealed through a code of silence. Because prosecutors said they could not establish which guards delivered the fatal blows, the 12 who entered the cell were charged with the relatively lenient offense of reckless homicide. Female guards who stood at the cell entrance were questioned as suspects but not indicted.

@BriannaWu Here's an IDF soldier admitting to killing children and raping Palestinians.
You want to apply that logic to all Israelis?

Take Irelands name out of your mouth when you want to rationalize white supremacy. The Irish didn’t come to America to share their culture. They came fleeing destitution and starvation in their homeland, courtesy of the kind of imperial power you now fetishize. We don’t forget.
Between his call for the destruction of all ‘mainstream Muslims,’ his claim that Palestinian identity itself is evil, and his call for the killing of everyone in Gaza, Randy Fine is a modern Klansman and Nazi all wrapped into one, only his targets are Muslims and Palestinians. Leaders of Congress across the political spectrum should demand his resignation, which is long overdue.
There are many Israel supporters who treat the claim that Israel committed genocide in Gaza as if it's some sort of fringe, laughable delusion that only crazies assert.
In fact, this conclusion has been endorsed by most major human rights groups (including Israeli ones), leading scholars of genocide (including leading Israeli scholars and countless Jewish ones), duly constituted international tribunals, many countries around the world, UN inquiries, and all kinds of associations of scholars.
You can dismiss them all as bigoted and anti-Semitic if you want (groups or scholars criticizing Israel are reflexively dismissed as such). But the conclusion that Israel committed classic genocide in Gaza is not some assertion that only gets made by random internet accounts. It's approaching a consensus in the world of groups, tribunals and scholars most qualified to adjudicate the question.
(The term "genocide" includes far more than "successfully slaughtering everyone in a population as quickly as possible," and the belief that it only covers that act is part of the confusion and/or misinformation on this question).
Also: the US, UK and much of Europe paid for, armed and otherwise enabled most of it.
@deborahlipstadt@UNWatch I may be a "horrible horrible person", but I am neither accused of war crimes/crimes against humanity before the @IntlCrimCourt, nor paid to defend a state accused of Genocide before the @CIJ_ICJ.
I can live with that.
"Where's Daddy?" is a matter of historical record.
The IAF had a system of killing its targets specifically while they were at home with their families, called "where's daddy?" This led to systematic massacres of families to kill people who were overwhelmingly either low-level combatants or themselves civilians (e.g. pro-Hamas journalists or civilian employees of the Gaza government).
By the way no Air Force has ever done something like this. Nor did the IAF in the past. Air Forces (including the IAF) did kill targets in their homes with their family, but not systematically; this was a one-off practice to kill high-value targets, and was extremely controversial (and rightfully so, as it was a war crime). However, the IAF in the current "war" is the first air force to systematically bomb to death targets - of low or zero military value - specifically while they were home with their families.
Do I really have to post this again?
Leftists voting third party did not cost Democrats the election.
Even if Kamala Harris got EVERY vote cast for Jill Stein, de La Cruz, & West, she would not have won ANY of the swing states.
