After thoughts:
Jesus offers rest not through removing our burdens but by sharing them. "My yoke is easy and my burden light"โnot because life becomes effortless, but because He carries it with us.
Lord Jesus, meek and humble of heart, we come to You. Give us Your rest and teach us to carry Your yoke with joy. Amen. ๐

and humble of heart.โ
Jesus offers not a life without burdens, but a light and easy yoke โ one carried with Him in gentleness and humility.
This Sunday, let us bring our weariness, worries, and labors to the Lord. He alone can give true rest to our souls.
Prayer:
Father, I praise You for revealing Your mysteries to the humble. Keep me among the little ones, trusting in Your wisdom rather than my own. Jesus, meek and humble of heart, grant me Your rest.
Jesus, I trust in You. Amen โ๏ธ๐
After thoughts:
How do you practice fasting? Is it an act of love and longing for Christ, or merely an obligation? Let your penances be expressions of desire for the eternal wedding feast with the Lord.

that Jesus brings newness and joy. The presence of the Bridegroom (Christ) transforms everything. Fasting and practices have their place, but they must flow from a living relationship with Him.
Prayer:
Lord and Bridegroom of the Church, form and purify me by allowing me to share in Your Passion. May my fasting and sacrifice express my love and longing for eternal union with You.
Jesus, I trust in You. Amen โ๏ธ๐
After thoughts:
What binds you today? Addiction, fear, resentment, sin? Christ has the power to break every chain. Approach Him in faith and allow His grace to set you free. The one who freed the demoniacs desires your liberation even more.

The townspeople, seeing what happened, beg Jesus to leave their region.
This Gospel shows Jesusโ authority over evil, but also the sad reality that some people prefer their old ways and comfort over the freedom and presence of Christ.
Prayer:
Most powerful Lord, You have authority over every evil. In my weakness, I cry out for Your mercy. Set me free from all that binds me, protect me from the evil one, and restore me to deeper communion with You.
Jesus, I trust in You. Amen โ๏ธ๐
