We understand that the ban on vehicles with unauthorized registration or no plates is due to the insecurity in Nigeria. However, the Lagos police have now resorted to extorting people, especially car dealers with dealer plates, despite them having legitimate certificates.

This is not the purpose of the ban. There's no reason for any police to tow a car with authentic dealers certificate to their station. This is exactly how #EndSARS started. Pls kindly talk to your people before things get worse.

In continuation of the commissioning of projects in the FCT, a new state-of-the-art Court of Appeal, Abuja Division Building was commissioned yesterday, by the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

The President described the facility as a bold statement of his administration's Renewed Hope Agenda towards providing a befitting home for the rule of law.

For us, provision of a comfortable, modern environment for judges is critically important to the sustenance of the independence and integrity of the judiciary.

Today too, we will hand over the Quarters for the Court of Appeal Judges in Abuja, and also flag-off the construction of new Quarters for the Industrial Court and Code of Conduct Tribunal judges.
