@cafreeland Minister Freeland, thank you for the time you spent with our family in Cambridge. My daughter Emily was inspired by your accomplishments: our 1st female Finance Minister, your fight for a fair USMCA. We are especially grateful for your kindness to her. Emily is now a big fan!
@CarlyCassella Great, scientific reporting Carly, about trees affecting rainfall levels, incredibly revealing to know leaves are negatively affected and release less water as CO2 levels rise, leading to less rain.
Kudos to you, thanks! https://t.co/0J7uGuY7j8
@environmentca Thank you so much for sharing our story here at VeriForm!
We listed our first 37 projects on our website here:

Over 100+ initiatives have allowed us to lower our carbon footprint by 77.1% in 13 years!
@MikeSchreiner@rfldn I dread to think what would have happened if I canceled our initiatives like Ford did. My company in Cambridge, Ontario has implemented over 100 energy initiatives/policies internally, saving us over a million dollars a year and helping us hire more staff and expand our business!
@Radio_Shorts@cathmckenna@cityofcambridge Yes, we did join the local NGO Sustainable Waterloo support group. We paid a fee to join and they provided a chance to rub shoulders once a month with other like minded sustainability champions at morning meetings.
@YaleE360 Difficulty with nuclear is that it is so expensive not just to build a nuclear plant not just to run it and not the after cost disposal but also all the maintenance costs. We supply parts to both nuclear and renewable and nuclear is about nearly 5 times the cost unfortunately.
@Radio_Shorts@cathmckenna@cityofcambridge All our energy upgrades were funded by us. Plus we took out a 2nd mortgage 5 years ago to fund our employee wages when the economy was really bad. And then we sold an investment property to shore up our line of credit for the business. No welfare, no grants sir.
@SustainableWat@cityofcambridge @WRSusti Here is an image of the first 37 (out of over 100) energy initiatives we did at VeriForm since 2006. And link to the page too. We need to update the page to show all 100+ initiatives...we will do that later this summer and fall. https://t.co/WJlvYrXCp0
For example brackets that we do for nuclear require so much documentation that the taxpayer ends up paying 4 to 5 what Hydro, Wind or solar similar brackets require.... the renewables costing is so much more competitive.
Hi Andy we make parts here for both renewable energy and nuclear sectors at VeriForm and I can tell you that nuclear is much more expensive in comparison due to its complexity and poor waste management...at least 400-500% more from our experience

@cathmckenna@cityofcambridge Let me be clear, I support the carbon tax 100%. Our society does not change out of the goodness of individual's hearts. It takes regulation and taxes to force change. There are a thousand examples of this. Unleaded gasoline, CFC's and the ozone layer are just a few examples.
Amazing data that shows Canada is charging half the tariffs that the US is charging in fact of all G7 Nations Canada charges less tariffs than anybody else https://t.co/EjQXEDuVV4
@RealRuaridhN @chuckl567 @CNN@SenJohnMcCain Thank you Ruaridh for spreading truth and neutralizing the lies and ignorance. I'm a Canadian and did not know the Canada's charging such low tariffs, half of what the US is charging. Amazing data showing Trump lies.
