A Muslim performing in a church choir or leading music during another religion’s worship isn’t a matter of “talent” or “religious tolerance” it’s a matter of ʿaqīdah.

As Muslims, we are commanded to preserve the purity of our tawḥīd and not participate in the religious rituals of other faiths.

What is the difference between this man and a full time gospel singer? If not that we know him before now, no one would ever guess he is a Muslim. He sounds perfect for their gathering.

If you know him, please tell him that what he has done could take him out of the fold of Islam. It is that serious.

The only excuse scholars can make for him here is Al-'Udhr bil-Jahl (the excuse of ignorance). It is clear that he is an ignorant man, and that ignorance is his only saving grace.

You’re right. Social media is one of the biggest distractions of this generation. The benefits exist, but the addiction, time-wasting, comparison, and spiritual harm often outweigh them. We can live full lives without it — our parents and grandparents proved that. May Allah protect us from its excesses and guide us to use our time wisely.
