See, the built in one only works if you have active Internet access, while todoist syncs in real time. In most stores my phone Internet sucks so the built in one is useless.

Alexa is working hard to be irrelevant. Starting July 1st they no longer allow syncing with the shopping list trying to force us into using the horribly built in one. No thanks, I'll just start using Todoist directly with Home Assistant.

Big props to Taco Bell. I've basically stopped eating there because I couldn't log into the app and it wouldn't let me order without logging in. Big changes and now I can order and pay just using Google credentials!

So in big corporate fashion Amazon Alexa (who works subpar on the best of days) is trying to force you into using their ToDo / Shopping list. Which is buggy, slow, and at best third tier.

For those looking Home Assistant is way better at automation.

Adding Freddy's Steak burgers to bad apps! The app is extremely buggy, very slow to accept button pushes without any sort of visual notifications. My card zip code needed to be updated and it wouldn't let me edit it or add a new card. We gave up. Burgers are great at least!

This is what's wrong with software today.

Trying to use Google maps to see what time the local True Value is closing. Instead of showing me it tries to force me to look at 3 true values greater than 30 minutes away from me before the one that's 5 minutes from me.

I stand by my belief that Drannith Magistrate is a fair and good card for Commander. If you go all-in on your commander, don't have any backup plan or a way to remove a 1/3 creature, then you got got.
