We didn't set out to build an AI company. We set out to solve a feeling.

In the last decade, I've worked in children's books, products and experiences. One thing became very clear to me: children don't just love stories. They love the people who tell them.

We kept coming back to one question:

How do we help children feel close to the people they love, even when they're apart?

It's not the story that gets a child to sleep. It's the voice. That's the whole idea behind Snuggles, Dad's voice, in every story, even on the nights he's not in the room.

The dads who are right there, reading the bedtime story themselves, and the ones doing it from far away, are why we built @heysnugglesapp. Distance shouldn't be the thing that decides whether a kid hears their dad's voice tonight.
