Formerly @ChaoticADHD. Nonbinary, ADHD-C & chronically ill. I like telling stories & playing TTRPGs. // Owner-operator Vesper Riso // Organizing the #ADHDZine
It's one of those where I'm like why even bother to clean up, get my work on track, etc. because the only reward for getting tasks done is more tasks lol
I'll make plans and do it eventually, but I hate feeling like I'm on an endless treadmill of drudgery
Anyone else just like, chronically overwhelmed no matter how much or how little you plan to get done in a day?
I'm on the edge of panic a lot these days thinking about how much I have on my to do list, and idk what to do about it
@bennessb I also want to take on a few print jobs for others a month on my risograph copier, and continue making zines, because that's super fun and rewarding!
@bennessb task based, not time-based work, with at least part of it being setting things up to make money for me in the background (ie. Patreon, Redbubble/print on demand, making things in quantity in advance to sell)
After I recover from this sinus infection I'm printing an outstanding poster job for a friend, and then getting a serious business plan together to make this happen in the new year 💪
I would love for my Etsy store and print shop to be fully running for this reason, and get some stuff going on Patreon/Redbubble etc. to keep money coming in in the background.
This is bc on bad days or times of the day I can just rest. On days I feel amazing I can knock out most of the week's worth of work or even get ahead of things.
update to the job situation: the place I temp for won't make me an employee. because of this, my temp agency was like "well if she's not your employee, you can't tell her she has to come into the office" 🥴
apologies for being mega late with adhd zine stuff, I hope once this is sorted one way or another (or once we reach the weekend, either way) I'll get back to it, just
I'm not doing good right now for this and other reasons :')
(repost from my art acct)
I was made to go into the office Mon/Tues. Pretty much no one was masked or distanced, and one of my unmasked coworkers gave me a cold Monday
