When so called “regenerative farming experts” now start blaming indigenous populations for biodiversity loss. Give me a break. They really do show their true colours! That’s why this area needs decolonisation of thought and process! 🙄🤦🏾♂️

This incredible talk by @RosieAllister on how we can talk responsibly about suicide online was one of the most useful hours I spent this year. I've watched it again since facilitating the recording. Please give it a watch 🙏❤️
We also say goodbye to RCVS Treasurer and past President Dr Niall Connell @Grim_Raspberry who also retires from #RCVSCouncil today.
Niall was thanked for his tireless dedication, including his kind and empathetic leadership throughout the pandemic and his commitment to EDI.
If you need support for #mentalhealth problems or any of the issues discussed in todays moving and vital session details are in the picture below:

Thank you @VetEd2023 and @RosieAllister for bringing such an important plenary to the conference. Sharing evidence, research and lived experience stories for us all to draw on.
See comments for helpful talk at Vetstagram by Rosie on how to talk responsibly on this #veted2023
I love the @VetEd2023 clinical skills sessions - especially seeing colleagues bring models with them! We have Gilbert one of our Ikea dogs with us, and Gilby (son of Gilbert) #GosigDogs a foundational component of skills labs? #veted2023#clinicalskills

One mistake vet and ag organisations make with DE&I is that they feel that visible diversity is enough and they think it means that the barriers have been broken but fail to understand the equity and inclusion part is also fundamental to creating a space where everyone belongs.
Excited to be supporting this years VetEd - in person with Adrian and online with the rest of the vsgd team @VetEd2023
Let’s kick this off! Don’t forgot to check the digital delegate bag with heaps of ace career resources from us for your students too

Being a vet isn't always the easiest job. Every possible screw is being tightened around us atm resulting in our working day getting even harder!
But yesterday I felt like I made a real difference to pets & their owner's lives. It was a good day! May there be many more good days!
