Do your own research both ways. Tata already built ALFA and OMEGA EV platforms (Punch, Tiago, Curvv, Safari EVs) in house. For context stellantis sold over 300k EVs across 14 brands and 130 countries presence in 2025. Tata sold 90k plus EVs in one country in 2025. Negativity without thought is just noise.

TVS is building a premium retail network called - TVS Paddock. Norton. Premium EVs. Build-to-order.

The Norton acquisition in 2020 was the signal. This is the execution.

Norton targeting 200 dealerships across 20 countries and 20,000 units by 2030.

TVS is India's 2nd largest two-wheeler OEM. They've always been seen as the scrappy, smart underdog behind Hero and Honda.

What if Coimbatore became India's Sports City?

Not just stadiums. A full ecosystem — tennis, football, athletics, basketball, swimming, cycling. A 3.7 million people city with the infrastructure, climate and ability to pull it off.

Sport is massively underrated as an economic driver. Jobs for coaches, physios, trainers. Tourism from national and international events. Hotels, restaurants, local businesses — all benefit. Young athletes get a pathway that doesn't involve leaving the country.
The ROI of sport goes far beyond medals.

The foundation is there. The vision just needs backing.

Yes, certainly. Think about the ecosystem dependent on the industry. Ignore the overpaid actors, actresses, directors etc. you have like 10 other departments with 1000s of people reliant on the industry even if underpaid. Multiply that with all regional industries - Tamil, Telugu etc. that’s massive

Titan CEO Markose says that nearly 50% of domestic watch market in India comprises of products above Rs. 25k in value terms. Titan expects 1/3rd of their revenue to come from watches price above 25k in the next 3 years.

Indian watch market is poised to grow.
