The adoption of the @VFTV_CLE Vision for the Valley Plan is a huge step forward to lay the framework for a more accessible, multifunctional and sustainable Cuyahoga River Valley.
All Clevelanders - of all ages, and from all corners of the city - helped shape this exciting plan.
"This is a living, breathing document that will never sit on the shelf," Jim Haviland, executive director of nonprofit advocacy group @FlatsForward, said of the newly adopted @VFTV_CLE plan spanning 8 miles of the Cuyahoga River.

Anyone else feeling a little melancholy that COVID-19 scratching @ClevelandRows' @HOTCRegatta means
we're not enjoying these views of Cleveland today? #CuyahogaRiver
The 10th anniversary of Rivergate Park reminds us how the former Commodore Club Marina site, now home to @ClevelandRows & @clevemetroparks Merwin's Wharf, has been transformed into a hub for recreational activity along the #CuyahogaRiver. More of this on the waterfront please!

To continue these important conversations to better connect people w/ the riverfront while merging industry, recreation & nature, we must push forward. Thank you to all who have been part of this process & have shared your Vision for the Valley. #VFTV https://t.co/EltjVqHwNS 3/3
Meeting people in their neighborhoods across the City has been paramount throughout the entire planning process. By listening and learning from a wide range of voices, our team could provide ultimate recommendations that have been guided by, and with, the community. 2/3
Connection. Collaboration. Community.
These words come to mind as we reflect on the past year w/ the @CityofCleveland's @VFTV_CLE team. We're thankful for the partnerships of stakeholders, consultants & community members that have guided this vision. https://t.co/kV1YBNuE3I 1/3
