I coded this for Pixar’s Renderman users. This is a demo video. Why I made it, what it does, what kind of problems it solves, and how to use it. In my YouTube channel I will show you how to code something similar. #Python#Houdini

I (finally) started adding chapter marks in my YouTube videos, these video's can get quite long. They also tend to cover multiple of topics, so this might prove itself handy at times.

@lafocapeloda @henningsanden@_BD3D In the H18 presentation they started showing improved modeling tools, but admitted that in recent versions some large new contexts were introduced in Houdini, they were aware that next thing on the list should be even more modeling and character. https://t.co/i9BlzXJCit
I always use Visual Studio Code when programming with Python for Houdini. A code editor theme is pretty mush an acquired taste. And I personally love this one: Synthwave 84, with built in neon glow. #nextlevelRGB#VScode#Python#Houdini#programmers#glow#sidefx#Themes
The format:
1) The Big Picture
2a) The Fundamentals (13 vids)
3) Full Projects (Multiple Projects)
2b) Beyond the Fundamentals (Advanced - on a need-to-know basis)
4) Contextualization (Masterclasses on decisions and interviews with Houdini Python coders)
