The key is in the smallprint. This includes extra out of hours payments and DOES NOT represent junior dr salaries. The 355 conservative MPs made an extra £15.2million salary since 2019 (https://t.co/NYFnAcR3no) but this is never considered when discussing MPs pay- Why the difference with junior Drs?
The only fatcats are sat in westminster on the conservative party benches (as an ex-conservative voter)

I'm trying to understand academics, so if a journal publishes your research, you pay them $1,000. Then they make more money by selling your research, but instead of giving you back some money, you get prestige points & if you get enough prestige points, you get to keep your job?
