@Oluwabunminire You can't judge from this.
Sending her to her parents might be the kindness he can show, instead of allowing her to go hungry in his house.
That he was looking for a way to solve the problem shows a sign of care.

A beautiful picture of legacy and godly influence. As one generation lifts up the name of Jesus, another is learning to do the same. What we model today becomes the foundation of tomorrow.

May we raise a generation that will love God passionately, worship Him sincerely, and serve Him faithfully. ๐๐ฝโค๏ธ
A few weeks before my brain surgery, I was removed from a WhatsApp group. When I reached out to the admin, he told me that it was an error.
"Give me some time Oga Jaff. I will add you back." He assured me.
I didn't get back to him again. I totally forgot about it. It took over a month before he called me.
"Oga Jaff, I actually removed you from the group because I wanted us, your good friends to contribute something small for you." He explained rather apologetically. "We have contributed a token for you. Please let me have your wife's account number. Abeg, help us manage what we were able to gather for you. It's small but it came from loving hearts. May God see you through this ugly phase."
I thanked him exceedingly and reiterated that I appreciated every kobo. "I don't take this for granted."
I went ahead to thank everyone in the group when I was added back. There, I acknowledged the receipt of the money and appreciated their generosity. I didn't bother to ask who contributed what because I was not meant to know.
So, days ago, we received a distressed message that one of the members of the WhatsApp group had had an accident. The admin of the group removed the victim and called for a donation to help assist him with the medical bills.
"Please let's be our brother's keeper once again." He urged.
I had 25k which was what I was saving for my medications against next week. It was all that I had but I felt obligated to help because one good turn deserves another. Honestly, if I had more, I would have given more.
I told my wife to send 20k to the account provided. The money was sent almost immediately the admin posted about it. A day later, the admin added his own contribution of 5k.
Since then, I noticed that no one else bothered to add anything. I was disturbed by this development. Yesterday, I dropped a post in the group urging people to show up for the accident victim. This was after we were told that he'd been moved to the orthopaedic hospital.
It was then that a member surreptitiously called me to explain why everyone had stayed aloof.
"When we were told months ago to contribute money for you, he was the only one who opposed the idea. He said that the group was meant for intellectual matters only and even threatened to exit. He kept affirming that the group wasn't created for any charity reasons. Even when people ignored him and began to contribute, he kept distracting us with needless posts. Today, the table has turned. If I were you, I would have collected my 20k back." The member revealed.
Although I felt bad about that revelation, something inside me reminded me that we're made differently. I went on to do another post last night begging people to come out and support him. I maintained that we must not begin to tow the part of an-eye-for-an-eye. If we treated everyone the same way they treated us, there would soon be no more Angels left on earth.
There are crabs and there are scorpions. I opined that we should continue to be angels even when everyone around us turns into a demon. It is the nature of the good tree to bear good fruits. I will never let the good in me be erased or blotted out by the bad in the heart of a terrible person.
I was glad to see that more than ten people in the WhatsApp group have sent in their contribution after reading my post on the group. May God not let us use our own hands to chase away our guardian Angels. Sometimes, it's not life that is unfair to us but the bad seeds we sowed in the past that grew into thorns around us.
If the room is dirty and you have a broom, please use it where necessary. That room might be playing host to your guardian angel soon.
I wish him a speedy recovery sincerely from the bottom of my heart.
