I feel so lucky and blessed that my Father did my "Kanyadaan" (the most sacred ritual). My Christian friend feels so lucky that she was given away by her Father at her Wedding. My Muslim friend feels so lucky that she and her cousins have to wear burqa over lovely lehnga cholis.
