Goodbye to Twitter, wrote a mini essay about leaving kicking off my newsletter, subscribe if you wanna keep up, message me there, will not be checking this account https://t.co/QPT4RLizrK
Leaving this app soon for the exciting world of blogging, again, remembering how that is actually kinda a more fun way to write, subscribe! https://t.co/GQ79L3nNpX
Wrote my first official post for my newsletter, recommending the 13 best horror movies I watched for the first time this year. Happy Halloween! https://t.co/N5dMgYWcma
Gonna do weekly reviews of book, movies, and updates on my book research on Disney and IP as it goes, alongside the usual shrill anarchist agitation you've grown to enjoy/hate read!
Guess I'm gonna do this! Because writing a newsletter feels a lot easier than managing a bunch of different things for different people on Patreon https://t.co/rWRziRQWAw
Leaving this hell site by the end of the week. Gonna launch a patreon/newsletter type thing before I go (most content will be free) but the only social media I really enjoy posting on is Letterboxd so follow me for movie shitposts https://t.co/cyJ0bNSScD
@hystericalblkns I want to compare it to things like Sebald but it feels so unfair to what you've done to compare it to works so unaware of the exact dynamics you critique
@BigMeanInternet Just cuz tech dudes could convince capitalists with more money than they could consume/make productive without elaborate ponzis (ie VCs) they started to believe they had an actual product
@BigMeanInternet it's true though that some people encounter an economy driven almost entirely by rents and don't know their 19th/20thc economic history well enough to know that this a classical form of capitalism, not Feudalism
