@DrPeterWeeks1@Incogmeo No, or very little clinical narrative, no pre referral tests completed (X-rays, blood tests, FIT tests to name a few) our trust very rarely rejects to be honest and as I said us admin staff are left to try and chase answers adding to an already heavy workload
@DrPeterWeeks1@Incogmeo I think the problem is an increase of poor quality referrals (perhaps due to the pressure on primary care) has resulted in a lack of tolerance from hospitals, intro of forms and increase in rejections. As your original tweet suggests though itβs the patients who suffer ultimately
@DrPeterWeeks1 I also donβt think the filling of forms is going to be the NHSβs downfall. As 2 parties from each side of the service we may never agree π
@DrPeterWeeks1 An example could be for resp refs:no spirometery, MRC or CAT scores, 2ww lung ref-no recent chest X-ray (or even one requested), long covid ref no C19YRS and thatβs just a small selection, we too are also very busy and thatβs the problem the whole NHS is on its knees
