Absolutely disgusted with the way that @AsdaServiceTeam. Left me high and dry with no delivery, will take them up to 3 days to refund and customer service were so unsympathetic. I am now stuck trying to figure how out how I’ll find money or time to get groceries before Thursday
Considering @BangorUni for September '25?

I’m finding twitter to be a lot less fun, kind and informative than I remember. So I’m transitioning to the other place. Find me on BlueSky under the same handle 💙
Grief is a funny thing. Sometimes grief starts before someone dies, sometimes it lingers for years after.
You expect it in the big moments but it staggers you in the quiet moments. I do wonder when I’ll stop reaching for my phone to talk F1 with someone who can’t reply anymore.

A very honest and (hopefully) optimistic piece I wrote about my journey from cancer researcher to teaching academic. It’s been a huge transformation for me.
Things have changed a lot since I wrote this. Sorely miss lots about Glasgow but so glad I made the leap to North Wales.

This week has already been a rollercoaster at its only day two.
In the last four days I’ve become a homeowner, moved in, built a lot of furniture and delivered my first lecture on the new medical degree at the North Wales Medical School. (1/2)
I’m exhausted, excited and so grateful of all the support and flexibility of my team at work and friends who have made this happen, even at the most inopportune time. I’m so lucky to have found such a lovely bunch of people.
Talk about getting in just under the line! (2/2)
I can’t believe it’s nearly the Cardiff half again…
If you’ve got any spare change, please consider supporting the wonderful @EmmaYhnell and her ambitious costume choice 🧠
Only 5 days to go until @CardiffHalf and #EmmasBrainChallenge for @PAPYRUS_Charity
Thanks so much to those who have already donated.

It’s the time of year where I get to do one of my favourite parts of my job, read students acknowledgement sections of dissertations.
I always feel a little emotional seeing the gratitude, enthusiasm and pride students have at the end of their degrees.
After over 3 hours in a holding queue for @gigsandtours, the site goes down. I’m joining my brother in the conspiracy that you never had tickets to begin with…
