Today I learned that my city (@cityofissaquah) used to be named Town of Gilman. I found myself reading through the TONS of council meeting minutes and agendas to find out why. I honestly never thought that "People were confused" was going to be the reason for the name change.

Has someone tried to run a "paid promotion" for LGBTQ+ with the largest AR-15 manufacturers in the US? Maybe the whole problem fixes itself.

As long as the second amendment is in place, access to guns should not be taken away. We DO need better ways to know WHO is buying them.

Here's the thing, the options we get are a party that actively works to strip away your rights and protections to help their interests and their wealthy buddies, and a party that sucks at government but for the most part keeps people alive. Which one do you think we prefer?
