The right to a fair trial is the most salient right under national and international law. How on earth can you find a violation of that right and then uphold the outcome of a process that violated that right???
As an entrepreneur, lawyer & a young leader I attended the Africa Forward Summit. Beyond the speeches, the real lesson was understanding the systems shaping Africa’s future.👏🏾Grateful to have witnessed conversations on youth empowerment, trade, innovation, and entrepreneurship. 🇰🇪
Youth leader and lawyer Victor Mwalu has called for a thorough investigation into the fatal hit-and-run accident that left former student leader Bill Gwendo Kaunda dead.
"Bill Kaunda was brutally and inhumanely killed, and what is most disturbing is that the perpetrator remains at large.”
"This is not only about Bill, but about the principle that his life mattered, just as he would have stood up for any one of us," Mwalu added.
Bill, a former leader at the Mount Kenya University Students Association (MKUSA), was reportedly hit by a Toyota Prado on January 11, 2026, along Raila Odinga Road (formerly Mbagathi Way). He succumbed to injuries at the Kenyatta National Hospital.

Bill was a soldier. He stood for students and for justice. His loss touches the life of every student you see here. Abdikafar robbed us of our future. Abdikafar must be arrested. He is a murderer.

The World Economic Forum begins today when globalist gangsters fly to Davos on their private jets to eat wagyu steak together in five star hotels, while making plans for everyone else to ride bicycles, eat insects and live in pods.
Mt Kenya University students stage protests at Lang’ata Police Station demanding answers over death of ex-student leader Bill Kaunda, allegedly killed in a hit-and-run on Raila Odinga road.
I am closely following the tragic death of Bill Kaunda, a student leader at MKU and member of the ODM Disability League.
Last week on Sunday 11th of January 2026 at 7:00pm, Bill was hit by a car along Raila Odinga Road and rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital. Despite multiple surgeries to save his life, he succumbed to his injuries in the morning hours of Monday 12th January 2026.
The driver recorded a statement at Langata Police Station and was released on bail but has since failed to appear for further questioning. The family has raised serious concerns, including slow progress in investigations, inconsistencies in the post-mortem report, and unclear communication from the police.
The latest update that I have received: police confirm that the suspect resurfaced and recorded another statement, and the base commander has indicated that concrete findings may be filed by the end of next week for the case to proceed to the next steps.
Bill’s life mattered. His family deserves clarity, accountability, and justice. I will continue to stay engaged and ensure the investigation is transparent, thorough, and leaves no questions unanswered. #VIP
