Even brand new automobiles can develop mechanical failures at any point.
Not saying that it’s wrong to wear headphones while doing your activities. But we should always be cautious, especially in environments where we do not have absolute control, anything can happen at any time.

This should not be a cautionary tale on headphones. The problem isn’t that he wore headphones to jog. It’s done everywhere in the world. The problem is we let Trucks that are old and faulty drive on our streets with no government regulation. The truck being old and depleted but still being allowed to pass the hundreds of military checkpoints is the problem we should be focused on. But nobody cares about that since it’s easier to blame the victim

Guess what happened; kingpin cut and car lost control. Again, anything can happen at anytime and there’s some you have zero control over.
I guess you don’t drive so you might not understand.
