Proud to earn the endorsement of @VictoryFund- the nation’s leading organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ+ leaders.
I was Raleigh’s first LGBTQ+ citywide elected official, I would be the only LGBTQ+ member on the current Wake County Commission. #wakecounty#votelocal
"Felipe has spent nearly 20 years fighting for our communities. His leadership in the immigrant and LGBTQIA+ movements is exactly the people-first vision Florida needs. At a time when Washington and Tallahassee are stripping away rights and wasting taxpayer dollars on family separation and internment-style detention centers, Floridians are struggling with an affordability crisis. Felipe offers real, common-sense solutions. With 70% of our endorsed candidates winning, we're all-in. District 42 can make history by electing the first Dreamer to the Florida State House, and we're proud to endorse Felipe Sousa-Lazaballet."

I have spent my career keeping Rhode Islanders safe and fighting for our fundamental rights, including the rights of our LGBTQ+ neighbors to live and love free from discrimination, and I am honored to be endorsed by these two trailblazing organizations. 🏳️🌈 @VictoryFund@TeamLPAC
As an LGBTQ @VictoryFund campaign board member and an alumnus of the Biden-Harris administration, I am thrilled that we are honoring President @JoeBiden with the Chris Abele Impact Award for his groundbreaking commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion and his decades-long leadership as an ally in our mission. His speaking at our conference will be a first in our 41-year history and a true milestone moment for our community! 🇺🇸🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
I just wanted to thank each of you who supported my reelection campaign this year! Even though a challenger did not emerge this time, every word of encouragement, contribution, and voter who still went to the trouble of filling in the bubble by my name means a great deal to me.
Representation matters. Deep gratitude to the @VictoryFund for supporting my candidacy to become the first openly-LGBTQ+ borough president in NYC history.
🚨 NEW POLL! 🚨 A new #AZ06 poll shows me ahead of Ciscomani! These numbers confirm what I'm hearing every single day talking to folks in Southern Arizona.
Families are ready for new leadership - and I will carry the commitment of service I've held my whole life to DC.
A few years ago I shared widely & with vulnerability what only my closest friends & partner knew. Coming Out could look different for different family formations and identities. Here is my story #NationalComingOutDay@VictoryFund@TeamLPAC@StonewallDems

We showed up to do our jobs , to check on the wellbeing of people in state custody.
Instead, we were denied entry into a facility we have the legal right to inspect.
If lawmakers can’t get in, imagine the conditions for those who can’t get out.
This is exactly why my colleagues and I demanded entry, and why the state broke the law to block us.
They didn’t want us to see the truth: human beings being held in inhumane, dangerous conditions.
This is not just a policy failure, it’s a moral one.
