With my birthday in just under a month, and my team placed within the top 3.
I have had no time to catch up on the #NPLVIC and #VPL1 results respectively, until now, and wow, what a weekend of football.
I particularly wished I went to the Preston v SMFC game. Incredible.
@77Gtg87893 Wow, what a interesting thing to say.
JA setting up against teams which are on paper "better" then his, is where he is best.
This will favour him in the ACL.
We are witnessing HISTORY.
We are witnessing GREATNESS.
This is the pinnacle of the NPL, the best it has ever been.
Heidelberg United Alexander and South Melbourne Hellas on the continental stage.
It brings tears to me eyes. We have come so far.
The 11th of April cannot come quick enough.
Preston Lions hosting South Melbourne Hellas.
Zoki v Cohadzic.
I really cannot wait.
I plan to drop a preview thread.
I have just woken up to this Brunswick City club statement.
Having read it, I am going to put $10,000 on Brunswick City to be relegated.
Since gambling is illegal here in Los Angeles, I am taking a 6 hour bus ride to Las Vegas on my Easter Sunday to place that bet.
@BigCrompy Port yes, but Langwarrin can stay up. I don't see why you rule them out.
Serbia and North Sunshine are also better then Brunswick, wait until they play eachother.
@GreyhoundNerd And how’s that working for them? They’re one point above the drop zone.
And I don’t agree with your last point at all — matchday coaching is arguably the most important, to change things when they aren't working!
It is quite funny how poor Football Victoria are with fixture scheduling.
On the 11th of April at 3pm, the biggest rivalry is scheduled to take place. Preston Lions v South Melbourne Hellas.
Similarly, on the 11th of April at 3.15pm, 2nd and 1st face off in the second division. Manningham United v Northcote City.
Two incredible fixtures, yet they are on at the exact same time. Pathetic.
@iamthesportsfan Man. You're totally right. I am wrong, and am deeply sorry.
I appreciate you coming onto here to explain decisions.
If you ever want to contact me, my DMs are open, I am always free to provide you with advice
Ask me all questions #NPLVic & #VPL1 related.
With Good Friday tomorrow, I am having a late night, I am currently enjoying some In-N-Out.
Send through your questions and I will endeavour to answer them.
VicTouchline Statement
VicTouchline stands firmly against any form of abuse, intimidation, or disrespect toward match officials.
The actions of the Brunswick City coach are disgraceful. There is no justification for confronting and verbally abusing an official, especially in a manner that leaves them feeling unsafe.
Match officials are vital to football at every level. They deserve to feel safe, respected, and protected — without exception.
Passion is never an excuse for behaviour that crosses the line. Incidents like this damage the game and set the wrong example for players, supporters, and the wider football community.
VicTouchline supports all officials and calls for accountability.
Football must remain a safe and respectful environment for everyone involved.
Brunswick City’s head coach Nick Kyriopoulos was sent off for dissent in Friday’s 0-2 loss to Bulleen Lions, and his reaction to a female official was disgusting.
There is no place for abuse towards the amazing officials we have in #NPLVIC
This must be a lengthy suspension.
