After a long, awful winter (no snow, just deep mud), Spring is here, and dandelion time. Our small fields are basically regenerative pastures, no sprays, artificial fertilizer, plenty of herbs, for great meat. #Pork #Beef #Lamb #Sausages #Burgers #Bacon

The Guest Editor on R4 Today mused on not rushing decisions. Like 20mph. For me 20 was too much, should have compromised with all 30mph roads changed to 25 nationally.
* Probably similar benefits
* Less drastic, more compliance
* Should be national, not local

Torfaen Community Recycling - if that rings a bell maybe you were part of an amazing project 20 years ago. So was Paul Philpot, whose funeral has just gone. We were in a voluntary group that started kerbside recycling in Torfaen, saved TCBC £700k then they stuffed us. Story soon

Our wildflower meadow is probably best ever at this date, it's usually later for most flowers, but not this year. But even better today was the attached - I've hardly ever seen a Blue before July. I followed this one and got a reasonable pic. Love Blues. #Butterflies

Why does NHS not return to the use of convalescent homes it used to have, where patients were sent to recover after surgery or illness when they needed less than hospital care? Surely this would solve bed blocking, and cost less. #NHSCrisis
