@Codakiel It’s a combination of things:
1) It points to how overworked she is, having both a full time dangerous job while in school
2) it references shark’s naturally high metabolism (she needs more energy)
3) She’s a teenager so is at the point in her life where she needs sleep the most.
@menmakii I know saying this is beating the dead horse once again but it really is a sign of low media literacy to not understand that depiction =/= endorsement.
Hell even media that does (implicitly or otherwise) endorse pretty heinous shit can still have plenty of value.
@menmakii I can tell how exhausted you are at this discourse by how fast you went from 0-100 on this.
It’s always strange how they try to deny the parts of the medium they don’t vibe with. Like they can’t like something unless it aligns with them 90% or has no “problematic” elements.
@littleniibb I’m really sorry you’re going through it, Nii. I know anxiety can’t be overcome easily but I really respect and admire all the work you put in despite it trying to hold you back!
Sending you much love!
@IsThisA3DModel Bro was clearly not around for the 90’s as even the most rudimentary 3D graphics were still considered mind blowing to most people back then.
Also Monsters Inc was 2001, Toy Story was supposed to be on that TV but they couldn’t get the AI to do it.
@kumogorogoro I will never not be confused with Bluesky’s push to be the Anti-Authoritarian counterpart to twitter by…. being less open and more insular than twitter.
You don’t get less Authoritarian by silencing every opinion that isn’t lockstep with the owners.
