Nobody has any problem with the issue being discussed and action being taken against anybody who covered it up.

The problem starts when suddenly 3 ministers start throwing muck around without any iota of materials to back up their absurd claims.

What we expect(though we stopped expecting) is journalists instead of being the amplifiers of these unsubstantiated allegations by the TVK minister should calm down and sift through these claims and put out balanced views.

You have wittingly or unwittingly pointed out that TVK’s ministers speaking it out is only for the bye elections.

Just wondering, if the journos had atleast exhibited a modicum of the enthusiasm shown in this case, also for the case against the Srivaikuntam MLA, then we would have celebrated the balance, unbiased ethics, fairness etc of them. Alas…

Only request to all our media friends is stop being peddlers of sensationalism, and selective leaks.

I reiterate, the police should arrest the officials if at all a cover up happened in the POCSO case involving Veeramani, they should not just stop with leaking information so that their Political Masters can milk it for their politics rather than justice to victims.

The DMK govt proposed a four-lane elevated flyover connecting Marina Loop Road to Besant Nagar broken bridge across the Adyar Estuary. Just more or less around the same spot where fishermen live and in fact, it will displace the entire neighbourhood from Foreshore Estate till the Srinivasapuram Estuary and all the fishermen would’ve been displaced. The bridge was to start opposite to DGP office, same spot where secretariat is coming. Announced by former highways minister EV Velu. Sit down and stop acting like you’re a custodian for fishermen rights.

Distinguished veteran journalist Mr. @RKRadhakrishn has blocked me for the grave offence of expressing a critical opinion on his post.

Quite fascinating—Sir is perfectly comfortable critiquing others and handing out moral lessons, but apparently criticism comes with a different rulebook when it is directed at him.

Freedom of expression for everyone… subject to Sir’s approval, of course.
