@MrRickySpanish No wings, no usable forwards. This team is kessler and inshallah. Its practically what we did with AD. Outside of him, no defense. Pelinka needs to go unless he has other moves in the bag.
No, THANK YOU! Truly a honor to wear the ๐๐ while trying to continuing the greatness & legacies that came before me! Hope I made a few proud during my stint. ๐๐พ๐ซก๐
Leaders who put people first, will be remembered forever even after 100 decades.. ๐ซก

Iโm so proud of you thalaiva @CMOTamilnadu
Youโre stronger than we ever thought ๐ช
Look at those initiatives and implements he has done and been doing.. ๐ซก
@24Dparks Rui is a playoff riser. As a 3rd/4th option in the team, he's averaging 14/4/1 at 54/52/77. That's extremely efficient. I've never seen john collins play 1 meaningful game. In the last 2 playoff seasons, he's made 3.2 out of 6 threes. We need Rui on this team.
How low can politics go? Involving a child to defend Minister Sarath in a drug allegation issue is completely unacceptable.
The video clearly looks scripted, with multiple cuts and a child repeating things that she may not even fully understand. It appears that the parents of the concerned child have unknowingly put her mental peace and future at risk.
The child has now been dragged into a political controversy that should have remained between adults. Tomorrow, this video may reach her school, classmates, and social circle. Children can be cruel without understanding the consequences, and this could lead to bullying and emotional distress for her.
No child should be used to defend a politician or score political points.
I am also disappointed with some TVK supporters who are blindly sharing the child's video without thinking about its impact on her life. A viral video lasts for a few minutes on social media, but the consequences for the child can last for years.
The debate is not about what was being crushed in the original video. The questions raised by the public are about the manner in which it was done and the visuals that resembled the consumption of narcotic substances.
I request Minister Sarath to stop encouraging people, especially children, to defend him in this issue. Every such video only raises more questions and creates more controversy.
I also urge the authorities, including the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), to look into the matter of involving a minor in a political controversy and ensure that children are not used in such situations again.
Children deserve protection, not politics.
One decision can make people question an entire ideology.
Yesterday, the Tamil Nadu Government created the temporary post of Special Representative to the Government of Tamil Nadu at New Delhi for a period of one year and appointed Thiru K. Venkata Narayana, producer of the upcoming film JanaNayagan, to that position.
Initially, many opposed this appointment because he is considered a close associate of People's CM Vijay. But after listening to Minister C.T.R. Nirmal Kumar's explanation, I feel the criticism has only grown stronger.
The minister said that this is not a very important post, that Mr. Venkata Narayana does not need money or position, and that he was appointed because he stood firmly with CM Vijay during difficult times and is someone the Chief Minister trusts.
That explanation itself raises an important question.
Getting a government position is not easy. Every year, lakhs of youngsters prepare for competitive exams, sacrificing years of their lives. They clear prelims, mains, and interviews to earn an opportunity in public service.
Our leader himself has repeatedly said that TVK will not follow the culture of favouritism that people criticised in previous governments. He has always insisted that positions should be given based on merit, capability, and who truly deserves them.
I hope People's CM Vijay remembers that promise.
If standing with a leader during difficult times becomes a qualification for a government appointment, then what about the lakhs of TVK supporters who stood with him through every challenge? What about party workers who worked tirelessly for years without expecting anything in return? What about people who genuinely deserve opportunities based on their service and capabilities?
This is not about Mr. Venkata Narayana personally. It is about the principle behind the appointment.
TVK promised a new political cultureโone based on merit, not closeness or personal relationships.
We are not DMK. We should not even create the perception of favouritism toward family members, friends, or close circles.
I respectfully request People's CM Vijay to reconsider this appointment and ensure that every government position is given to someone who is genuinely deserving and capable.
People chose TVK because they believed it would be different. That trust should never be compromised.
