One year old child named in SC ST case FIR... There are few points to thinks about..on one hand we want foreign funding, we want india to be hub of medical tourism. While at the same time we have a law which can be used to falsely implicate any person of General Category (so called upper castes), muslims, christians and even foreigners.. how can we achieve a better India using a faulty system? much needed step. this has become a habit of state governments to change rules midway. Under the settled jurisprudence "rules of the game cannot be changed when the game has already started". moreover reverse discrimination is also discrimination whether in education, jobs or implementation of law or policy.

Delhi High Court agrees to hear urgently today a criminal writ plea filed by a woman accusing CJP activists Saurav Das, Abhijeet Dipke, Ashutosh Ranka and Ratna Singh of morphing and circulating her AI-generated pictures with PM Narendra Modi.

The Court was informed that an FIR in the case has already been registered and the woman is now seeking removal of these pictures.

Court said the case will be heard today.

The only person who should be compensated is professor Suryanarayana Doolla for being falsely implicated in such a one sided biased case. Should be compensated for losing reputation and also for the harassment that he and his family had to face..

Congress has sent Kharge and Rahul Gandhi a draft plan to woo Extremely Backward Classes (EBCs) in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the 2027 polls.

The proposal includes an SC/ST-style protection law for poorer OBC groups, 50% reservation in government contracts up to ₹25 crore, residential land for landless EBC families, and a push to raise the 50% reservation cap.

agree and disagree at the same time. Parliament has to do it.. yes, parliament has the power to do it .. but I don't agree with the statement that only parliament will do it... Supreme Court is the ultimate body to check the constitutional validity of the any act, but when the time came Supreme Court has upheld the validity of this act. So now throwing the ball into another court, why? there have been cases wherein Supreme Court has constituted larger bench and overruled previous judgments. The irony is "A law which is made to eradicate discrimination is being used to discriminate." @TimesNow

The logic: institution says the the allegations aren’t verified.
By this logic, same courtesy should be extend to the professor against whom the offence hasn’t been proved till now.
Branding him as criminal is not justified at all.

the facts:
#iit Caught cheating in an exam, suicide, FIR, SC/ST Act. This is not accidental. India needs a deep revamp, otherwise this pattern will keep taking lives.

Accused has a fundamental right to get grounds of arrest but sadly most of the investigating agencies do not comply with the constitutional principles and Supreme Court orders. Fighting till the Supreme Court is not feasible for most of citizens of the country. It is the magistrate court which has make sure non compliance by investigating agency is dealt strictly.

#SupremeCourt holds that an accused has a fundamental and statutory right to be informed about the ground of arrest.

Any breach or non compliance would entail immediate release of the arrest as such arrest is unconstitutional: Court.
