@malariagenomics@HarvardChanSPH When reading this abstract for the first time I positively whooped with delight. The presentation lived up to the hype. Amazing data, science, and collaboration.

Dominic was a giant in malaria genomics and founder of @malariagenomics . He was also my great friend. Working with his family and the wonderful team at @WellcomeOpenRes to bring this paper into the world has been emotionally challenging and a true privilege.
So pleased it’s out!
Prof Dominic Kwiatkowski's final paper, exploring the thorniest challenges of malaria transmission, is posthumously published today.
His close collaborators and friends give their thoughts on this intellectually impressive work and its legacy.

This new paper is now online & shows high prevalence of malaria in asymptomatic individuals in an area with high prevalence of artemisinin partial resistance in Kagera. May be of interest to colleagues and let’s know what you think. @EsteeTorok @nimrmsmt https://t.co/HDwPvcIcv2
Planning to run the Oxford Half Marathon in October, raising money for Malaria Consortium @FightingMalaria in honour of my late supervisor, Prof Dominic Kwiatkowski @malariagenomics. Very grateful for your donations, thank you! @JustGiving
