The Novena for Difficult Times - Day 9
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Father in Heaven, thank You for the witness of the saints who show us how to live a faithful life despite its imperfections and pains. We seek their intercession now to help us through this difficult time.
Only You know exactly what I need to get through this. Show me the way.
Come, Holy Spirit, and guide me.
St. Jude and St. Rita, you are both patrons of the impossible, pray for us. This difficulty I’m struggling with right now brings me to my knees.
At times, this burden feels too heavy. Please pray that I will feel God’s loving presence in my life each day.
Please especially pray for (mention your intentions here)...
Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

You guys should hold MTN cos I can tell you for sure they are stealing your data. I am going to keep saying it over and over again. 20GB in Morocco lasted 4 of us for 5 days and we did not finish it.
MTN is stealing from you
Church guy here again:
When physical intimacy is on pause, you’re forced to see your partner clearly. It removes the easy "glue" and tests what’s actually underneath.
Without sex blurring your judgment, the real questions get answered:
• Do we actually enjoy each other's personalities?
• How do we handle conflict when we're upset?
• Is there real substance here, or just chemistry?
From a Catholic perspective this isn't about restriction, it is about protection.
Lemme outline why it matters:
1. Chastity creates freedom. It stops two people from accidentally using each other for physical pleasure, allowing them to love each other as actual human beings.
2. Sex is a total gift. Intimacy says "I give all of myself to you forever." Keeping sex out of dating keeps your actions aligned with your current reality until full commitment is made.
3. Building Agape over Eros. Passion (Eros) is great, but self-sacrificing love (Agape) is what survives hard times. Pausing the physical forces you to build selfless love first.
If a relationship can't survive without sex, it wasn't going to survive with it anyway. You don't have to agree with what I say, but I don talk wetin Mother Church talk and I accept it.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Romans 12:2
In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Prayer to Our Lady, Undoer of Knots (Closing Prayer)
Virgin Mary, Mother of fair love, Mother who never refuses to come to the aid of a child in need, Mother whose hands never cease to serve your beloved children because they are moved by the divine love and immense mercy that exists in your heart, cast your compassionate eyes upon me and see the snarl of knots that exist in my life.
You know very well how desperate l am, my pain and how I am bound by these knots.
Mary, Mother to whom God entrusted the undoing of the knots in the lives of His children, I entrust into your hands the ribbon of my life.
No one, not even the evil one himself, can take it away from your precious care. In your hands there is no knot that cannot be undone. Powerful Mother, by your grace and intercessory power with your son and My Liberator, Jesus, take into your hands today this knot (mention your request here) I beg you to undo it for the glory of God, once for all, You are my hope.
O my Lady, you are the only consolation God gives me, the fortification of my feeble strength, the enrichment of my destitution and with Christ the freedom from my chains.
Hear my plea. Keep me, guide me, protect me, o safe refuge!
Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for me (10x)
In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Day 2 – Against Repeated Failures.
Today, we bring before Our Lady, Undoer of Knots, every painful cycle or patterns of disappointment, setbacks and closed doors. Through her intercession, may God give us the grace to breakaway them, learn from our failures without being imprisoned by it, the courage to begin again, and the strength to keep moving towards His purpose.
I decree: failure will not have the final word. Amen.
“The righteous may fall seven times, but they rise again.” – Proverbs 24:16
Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for us 🙏🏽

St. John Paul II,
I imagine it must have been hard to cling to your faith during trying times of your life, after losing your family members for one. Pray for us and all who struggle.
St. Ignatius of Antioch,
you were a martyr for the Faith. Pray that we may not turn away from Jesus while we struggle, but that we will move closer and closer to Him.
St. Charles Borromeo,
you were deeply affected by the death of your brother and you were determined to live a holier life after that loss.
Pray for us as we try to do the same. You lived during the plague, and you know the challenges of living during a time like this. Pray for us.
Please especially pray for (mention your intentions here)...

I hope we all know nothing can keep a woman who doesn’t want to be kept. Not sex, not food, not money, not even giving her the world, if you like give her all the styles you know. If she wants to cheat, she will cheat. Women need to stop blaming men for their lack of self-control.
FROM SIDE-CHICK TO SAINTHOOD
Before becoming a saint, St. Margaret of Cortona was a 13th-century woman living in luxury as a nobleman’s mistress.
One day, her lover went missing.
His pet dog ran back home alone, grabbed Margaret’s dress, and pulled her deep into the forest.
There, the dog led her straight to a shallow grave where her lover had been murdered.
The shock snapped everything into focus.
She realized how fast life and money could vanish. Margaret gave away all her wealth, put on simple clothes, and spent the rest of her life running a free hospital for the sick and poor.
Today, she is known as the patron saint of second chances.
Mary, Faithful Mother, intercede for us when we are tempted to give up. When the road becomes difficult and our strength begins to fail, obtain for us the grace to persevere. Help us remember that God sees every sacrifice and that no act of faithfulness is ever wasted. Amen.
In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Sacred Heart of Jesus,
burning with love and mercy for us,
I place before You everything I am carrying tonight.
You know the worries I have spoken aloud
and the ones I have kept hidden.
You know the people I fear for,
the situations I cannot repair,
and the prayers that have been waiting a long time for an answer.
Jesus, receive them all.
Bring healing where there is suffering.
Bring peace where there is conflict.
Bring provision where there is need.
Bring reconciliation where love has been wounded.
And where fear has taken hold,
let Your presence become stronger than everything that frightens us.
Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Mother who remained faithful beside Jesus through suffering and sorrow,
pray for us.
Take the names of our children, our families, and those we love
and carry them in your maternal intercession before your Son.
When we cannot protect them,
ask God to guard them.
When we cannot reach them,
ask the Holy Spirit to guide them.
When they are hurting and we do not know how to help,
remain close to them and lead them toward Jesus.
Today I entrust this special intention to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary:
[Place your intention here.]
Sacred Heart of Jesus,
heal what has been wounded in us.
Forgive what needs forgiveness.
Restore what can be restored.
Strengthen what has become weak
and give us the grace to trust You with what we cannot control.
Immaculate Heart of Mary,
teach us to remain faithful when answers are delayed,
to pray when we are afraid,
and to keep pointing our hearts toward Christ.
May our homes belong to Jesus.
May our decisions be guided by God.
May our families be protected from evil, division, and despair.
And may every trial we face draw us closer to the One who never abandons us.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.
Amen.
May the love of Christ remain over our homes, the intercession of His Mother accompany our families, and the peace of God settle over every intention entrusted here.
Day 1 - For Family Liberation.
We place our families before Jesus through the intercession of Mary, Undoer of Knots, asking Him to break every destructive pattern, heal inherited wounds, restore unity, and free our homes from everything that keeps us from His peace and purpose. May Christ be Lord over our families, our present circumstances, and the generations yet to come.
“For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
