The assent to the Jagat Jyot SGGS Satkar Amendment Act is a welcome step, but laws mean little without intent and action.
If CM @BhagwantMann is serious, this must become a real deterrent against sacrilege—not just another headline.
Punjabis are still waiting for justice. When will the culprits of Bargari, Behbal Kalan & Kotkapura be held accountable? Why has the report of Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh been buried without action?
@ArvindKejriwal had promised to book the guilty within 48 hours—but 48 months have passed.

Met Nitin Gadkari ji Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, and raised two critical issues concerning public safety and welfare.
1. Safe Connectivity for Phillaur Bus Stand.
2. Eviction and Demolition Concerns in Kalsi Nagar Phillaur.
@nitin_gadkari
A fresh gazette, the same old evasion. Rather than clearing pending pay commission dues, the Punjab administration has once again set up a committee under Harpal Cheema, with Aman Arora and Dr Baljit Kaur, to “review” the matter.
After being forced by @AAPPunjab to approach the courts over DA, employees and pensioners now see their legitimate claims pushed into endless files, citing fiscal stress as an excuse. This isn’t leadership, it’s deliberate delay.
For how much longer will justice be denied to those who have already waited far too long?
@INCIndia@INCPunjab
Once upon a time, @ArvindKejriwal traversed the streets in a modest blue WagonR, an emblem of austerity and the self-styled champion of the “common man.”
Today, that carefully curated modesty seems to have ascended to the rarefied comfort of private charter jets — the “aam aadmi” now cruising at 20,000 feet and above.
The irony is hard to miss: such indulgence appears underwritten by Punjab’s exchequer, with the ready facilitation of @BhagwantMann — who risks looking more like a logistical aide than the Chief Minister of a debt-burdened state.
From WagonR to private jet —
a transformation that suggests the “common man” is no longer quite so common.

Joined the protest today with Congress workers standing in solidarity with the family of Dr. Gagandeep Singh Randhawa ji.
We are united in this fight for justice, rights, and accountability. Congress will continue this struggle with unwavering resolve until justice is delivered to the grieved family. @INCPunjab@INCPunjab
Grave allegations against @AAPPunjab Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar.
Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, DM Warehouse Corporation Amritsar, died by suicide. Before his death, he named the minister, alleging pressure to admit a ₹10 lakh bribe, tender manipulation, assault, and coercion.
I urge the Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court to take suo motu cognizance and ensure justice. @INCIndia@INCPunjab
Have written to Hon’ble Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria over the shocking breach of security inside the Punjab Vidhan Sabha premises.
Allowing private individuals and a band team inside the restricted precincts of the House is a serious violation of security protocols.
I have requested a thorough investigation and strict action against those responsible.
@INCIndia@INCPunjab
Young minds like Rohith Vemula and Darshan Solanki lost their lives to caste discrimination.
An ordinary Dalit citizen Hariom Valmiki was lynched.
Chief Justice of India faces a caste-driven attack — and a senior IPS officer, ADGP Y. Puran Kumar, is driven to take his own life.
The pattern is clear — from the university campus to the highest court, from the street to the police service — Manuwadi ideology has penetrated every layer of our society.
In ten years, the BJP hasn’t just governed India; it has normalised prejudice, legitimised hate, and broken the very social fabric that held this Republic together.

In solidarity with the flood-affected families of Punjab, all @INCPunjab MLAs & I have decided to contribute one month’s salary to the CM’s Flood Relief Fund.
This is a humble gesture of empathy in these testing times. I urge all citizens & organizations to come forward for relief & rehabilitation.

I welcome the Supreme Court’s revised directions on stray dogs, as it marks a progressive step toward balancing animal welfare and public safety. The approach is both compassionate and rooted in scientific reasoning.
It was an honour to join the Felicitation Ceremony of His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Jose Sebastian, Bishop of Jalandhar at St Francis School in Amritsar.
Thank you Rev. Fr. Joseph Mathew for the gracious invitation.
The presence of senior Congress leaders — @GurjeetSAujla, O.P. Soni, Sukhwinder Singh Sarakaria, @SSDannyBandala, @Harpartapajnala, Raj Kumar Verka, @IBSBolaria, Santokh Singh Bhalaipur, Sunil Dutti, Jugul Kishore Sharma, @VikramjitMLA, Ashwani Pappu, Bhagwant Pal Sachar, and @Vikassoni11 — reflected the spirit of unity, secularism, and service that our party stands for.
The Congress family remains committed to protecting Punjab’s plural ethos, celebrating diversity, and strengthening the bonds between communities. 🙏

During my visit to New Zealand, I saw firsthand how our Punjabi brothers have excelled in modern, commercial farming. Punjab needs bold leadership to bring such transformation back home. Here, I share my learnings and vision for the future of our agricultural/livestock sector.
@INCIndia@INCPunjab@VikramjitMLA
Had the pleasure of meeting Punjabi farmer brothers in New Zealand who have mastered kiwi fruit cultivation — a shining example of how the spirit, skill, and determination of Punjab’s farmers flourish not just in our homeland, but wherever they set foot in the world.
@INCIndia@INCPunjab
Privileged to visit the residence of Ravinder Singh Pawar, son of former Punjab Agriculture Minister Master Gurbanta Singh Ji, and engage in a warm, personal interaction.
@INCIndia@INCPunjab@VikramjitMLA
The @AAPPunjab govt's Land Pooling Policy has been withdrawn—not by choice, but by force—because of the unwavering resistance of Punjab’s farmers and the relentless pressure mounted by the opposition, particularly the Punjab Congress.
This is not just a policy rollback—it is the beginning of the end for a govt that has repeatedly acted against the interests of farmers and the people of Punjab.
I congratulate the farmers and the people of Punjab for standing united, showing unmatched courage, and defeating the most arrogant and anti-Punjab regime we have seen in recent times. @INCIndia@INCPunjab
🌾 Shaping a New Agricultural Future for Punjab 🚜
Today, I visited one of New Zealand’s most advanced greenhouses — a model of how technology, innovation, and sustainability can work hand in hand. On just one acre, farmers here produce 125 tonnes of high-value capsicum each year, worth over ₹4 crore, while conserving water and protecting soil health.
This is not just impressive — it is instructive. Punjab stands at a turning point. Our over-reliance on the wheat–paddy cycle has strained our groundwater, depleted our soils, and limited our farmers’ incomes.
The answer lies in strategic diversification — introducing high-value crops supported by modern infrastructure, precision farming, and strong market linkages.
During interaction with experts, we agreed that a comprehensive agricultural transformation plan that blends the best global practices with Punjab’s unique strengths is the need of hour.
Punjab Congress’ goal is clear:
✅ Boost farmer incomes
✅ Safeguard natural resources
✅ Build a resilient rural economy
Punjab’s farmers are the pride of our nation. With vision, planning, and the right technology, we can secure their prosperity for generations to come.
