Locking day one content in a singleplayer game, with online not even being a thing yet, on top of making sure every copy is a download, they officially lost me and I don’t care if the game really is good.
I wouldn’t even take it for free now.
@TheCanadianGTR Just ignore that GM kept selling SS Camaro’s and were STILL selling a car literally just called the SS. Also ignore that Forza’s the only franchise with this measure taken, and games that came out in 2015 or a couple years after still use SS on old models. It’s Microsoft.
@TheCanadianGTR Okay but what makes a drift truck that gets instant torque and power useless? At most you get not as fun to modify and no engine swaps, but does it really matter with this one truck?
@TheCanadianGTR Something I will say, Lexus honestly should be Japanese since they were started outside America in the same year, the UK seems to love them more, and once the LFA came out they outright replaced the very Toyota names they were based on.
Acura is heavily North American though.
@VonClaytonGames@TheCanadianGTR This was only true in the early 90’s, which even then didn’t stop places like the UK from getting them in 1990 as well. By the time the LFA came out, they were replacing long-term models with their Lexus rebadges in Japan as well. At this rate it’s still a Japanese brand.
@jpeg_salesman@PortsideBuzzed@rh_heitor And the game’s literally dead, it did too little for fans and pleased no one, even my older brother who thought it was good for the first couple hours. As it turns out, building your game from the ground down and calling it up isn’t a good pr tactic.
@gabsdokadett On a funnier note, the NSX started as an idea born from not only their F1 efforts, but also a mid-engine City prototype they messed with back then.
@burneraccountNS@RKBDI@Succculenttrash I bet you’re a kid who never got to experience when street lamps were yellow, and thus also dimmer than today’s white lights. When I was in middle school, Phoenix would look almost exactly like 2015, which helped that game retain a factor of nostalgia for me.
