Persona producer Kazuhisa Wada on the Persona 4 Revival Yosuke romance, Adachi romance? and unused voice lines from vanilla Persona 4

"Of course, we’ve heard the requests from players who want Yosuke to be a romance option.

However, we don’t think it would be right to give that option to Yosuke alone. If we were to do that, we would also have to consider whether the other male characters and male Social Links should have similar options as well, including Adachi. That would ultimately turn into a very large scale system and could potentially make it into a completely different game. Therefore, we currently have no plans to add a romance route for Yosuke.

As for the unused Yosuke confession voice lines from the original game, we only learned later that overseas players had discovered that data. We believe those were probably test voice lines recorded during development.

As for everything surrounding that, we’ll leave it up to everyone to imagine and interpret for themselves."
