๐ฟ๐ฆ Airlink is backing its pilots after that insanely low DHL Stadium flyby blew up online.
Two Embraer jets flew over the stadium, and from the ground it looked pretty wild.
But Airlink says this wasnโt some pilots getting carried away. Six senior captains were involved, three on each jet, and the whole thing was planned and rehearsed with aviation authorities and air traffic control.
Its flight data also shows both jets stayed within the approved altitude and 150-knot speed limits.
And these flybys actually go back to the famous Boeing 747 that flew over the 1995 Rugby World Cup final, a tradition thatโs stuck around for big South African rugby games ever since.
Looked absolutely mental from the stands, but apparently everything was by the book.
