3 pm. What's left of our boys would have retreated to treeline. With so many and so much lost, Lee and those at the treeline could only express their sorrow in song. It grew as a whisper and was picked up by everyone still with a voice. "Nearer my God to Thee, nearer to thee"
@cavkingpaul The attitude in the rank was so surreal that one Virginia regiment commented to a Tennessee regiment that had fallen out of formation and gone too close to them, "Move on cousins. You're drawing the fire our way."
@cavkingpaul 2 PM EST.. Longstreet had to move forward beyond the treeline despite his misgivings. They advanced as if in a parade and dressed the line as men fell.
The incident has been reviewed, and we have no concerns over the officer's actions and we are satisfied that they were reasonable and proportionate in the circumstances.
We would ask that footage is not further shared to allow the legal process to take its course.
3 blacks attack a drunk white kid in Birmingham, the female police officer comes in to protect the violent blacks and arrest the white kid
Absolutely disgusting the way white people are treated in England (@KnockoutAudit)
@CSandbatch I think the "white trash" and the "redneck" is the more interesting dynamic to look into. I havent come across "flatlander" quite as regularly.
@CSandbatch I thought it was the other way around. All hillbillies are rednecks but not all rednecks are hillbillies. Hillbillies being the cultural sub group of rednecks coming from the Ulster Protestants and their culture heritage of naming their sons "William".
