The National Science Day was celebrated yesterday. On 28th of February every year this day is celebrated to mark the discovery of ‘Raman Effect’ by Indian Scientist C.V. Raman, in 1928. He later on got Nobel Prize in Physics in the year 1930 for his discovery.

The yearly visit of a team from @TASIS_Lugano to @GramVikasIN comes to an end yesterday. The team consisted of 12 students and 3 teachers from TASIS. During its visit, the team stays in Mohuda, and primarily spends its time with students from Gram Vikas High School, Kankia.

The students in rural schools are currently compelled to memorize the concepts of Science due to the unavailability of Science laboratories leading them to a decline of their interest in Science. It is required to develop scientific temper in students in rural schools.

Kumbeswar Mallik is a former student of GVHS, Kankia. He passed his Matriculation Exam from our School in the year 2016. After passing his 10th from our School, he used to stay in our campus while persuing his Higher Secondary Examination from a nearby College in Chikti.
