As Chief Executive of Demelza, I acknowledge the #SpringBudget2023 efforts to extend energy bill & childcare support. However, the £300m annual funding gap in children's palliative care in England remains unaddressed. (1/5) #childrenspalliativecare
Andy Fletcher, CEO of @Tog4ShortLives, welcomes the energy support & charity package, but emphasises that the government's efforts must be revised. The childcare reforms do little for parents with seriously ill children. (4/5) #palliativecare
It was a pleasure to welcome @louie_french to our Eltham @DemelzaHospice where he met with some of the team and toured our facilities.
