केंद्र सरकार ने राजस्थान कैडर के 1994 बैच के IAS अधिकारी नरेश पाल गंगवार को शिक्षा मंत्रालय में सचिव नियुक्त किया है। यह नियुक्ति ऐसे समय हुई है, जब उनके परिवार को सरकारी बागवानी योजना से ₹1.16 करोड़ से अधिक की सब्सिडी मिलने का मामला सवालों के घेरे में है। जून माह में प्रकाशित इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की पड़ताल के मुताबिक गंगवार की पत्नी, बेटे और मां को पांच वर्षों के दौरान जयपुर में खीरा उत्पादन की तीन परियोजनाओं के लिए कुल ₹1.16 करोड़ से अधिक की सब्सिडी मिली। पत���नी की परियोजना को ₹24.36 लाख, बेटे की परियोजना को ₹46.49 लाख और मां की परियोजना को ₹46.03 लाख दिए गए थे।
