Jimi Wanjigi has created nothing in Kenya. The Kenyan elites are so pathetic that a Nigerian elite has to set up a refinery(a production plant) in Kenya as they engage in commerce(dukawalla economics), and Kenya becomes a consumer nation.
There are people @edwinsifuna must keep away from. They bring no value to his politics nationally or in any local politics. All they will do is make him look like Uhuru's project.
I'm not sure why we're revisiting this discourse - we had already heard this and we adjusted and moved on, clearly told that @FaithOdhiambo8 had been an anomaly as an LSK Chair with the way she stood with "Kenyans".
We're importing used vehicles, approving fuel with higher sulphur content, then threatening motorists with hefty fines if their emissions are too high.
The policy objectives don't seem to align. It raises valid questions about whether this is about cleaner air or collecting more money.
I tried to join KDF after high school, I didn't want to go to campus, I cleared every vetting stage...running, height, weight, blood pressure, work out, eye sight, took a piss, I still remember when the lieutenant general in charge of the recruitment told me, umemaliza kila kitu sasa ingia mfuko, ita babako tumalize hii mambo.
I had only 150/= left for fare from wote town to kola town, didn't even haveva phone.
A guy ended up taking my spot.
They waited 4hours akijilazimisha kukojoa, akapewa adi juice itoke, he never did and his blood pressure was over the roof, he was the 7th recruit out of Unoa grounds, Wote town, 2015.
Later he confided in me his father had paid 400,000/=
So wacha kutugaslight, close to 200 kenyans show up for recruitment at every location, and watch 7 lazy kids buy their spots.
Am not for serving another nation's military either, but I understand those who do.
Free advice to Ruto and his people. Pause, take a month and do public participation with the People of Lamu on the Dangote Oil Refinery. If you don't act accordingly within a week, I will Petition the High Court to stop the planned construction. Be advised.
Kenyans are funny, when they wanted Sonko they said tupewe mwizi wetu, now they want Babu they don’t care if he shot DJ Evolve, Didmus is well on his way to Governorship too. Now they pretend they don’t know the ceiling inspector is holding brief from Ichaweri. Mtaendelea kuteseka tu from Ruto back to Uhuru and the rotation from one oppressor to the next continues thanks to your help.
Symbolism as policy. Administration borrows tonnes of money, then gets parliament to pass a law as a Sovereign Wealth Fund . And then kids paraded before cameras to give impression that the math works.. Kids, it's not your fund, it's just a mood board.
KeNHA has disclosed a second 30-year PPP for the A8 corridor, awarding Shandong Hi-Speed the 94km Gilgil–Nakuru–Mau Summit section at a toll tariff of KES 8.50 per kilometre.
This follows the 24 June award of the 139km Rironi–Gilgil and Rironi–Maai Mahiu–Naivasha sections to the CRBC–NSSF consortium at KES 8.00, bringing the combined privately financed corridor to 233km, with both concessions structured on a DBFOMT basis and the assets reverting to KeNHA after 30 years.
A Bill before Parliament seeks to require internet providers to assign every user a unique internet meter number, track usage in real time, and submit annual records to the Communications Authority.
ICJ Kenya has raised concerns that the proposal could enable mass surveillance and weaken privacy protections
This is an issue I couldn't sleep without having addressed, no matter how late I got home.
It's sad and unfortunate that we have to square it here because we have our reputation to protect.
@theTravellerke_ when we inspected this car for you, we brought to your attention the welding on the car and the engine leaks.
(I have attached the inspection report.)
You still bought the car, and yet you complain over the same issues.
How EXACTLY is that our fault?
We NEVER recommended this unit and CLEARLY highlighted the issues, and that's where our responsibility ends.
Let's exercise honesty and count our losses without trying to sink others.
I had to address this before I sleep, and it's really sad that we had to get here.
You can tag the inspector, but you should also be able to tag the dealer. I'm not defending the inspector, but from my experience conducting pre-purchase inspections, dealers often know the issues their vehicles have and still choose to sell them without disclosing those problems
I’m curious why they are not naming the car yard that sold them the car as well?
You paid the car inspector 20k and you have tagged her twice but the guy you paid 3 million plus can’t be mentioned?
Hallo?
