BREAKING: 2 DEAD, MULTIPLE INJURED after coach bus crash on Long Island Expressway

Emergency crews responded around 11:45 p.m. Monday to the upper level of the westbound LIE in Queens.

A coach bus collided with vehicles, flipped over the center median into oncoming traffic, and struck more cars. The bus landed on its side and destroyed a large portion of the median.

Victims pulled from the wreckage where 2 declared dead at the scene, bus driver and one passenger. 3 in critical condition and up to 7 with minor injuries.
