THE DISCIPLE might be something you want to mess with as this highly entertaining doc pulls back the curtain on the most legendary “album no one’s ever heard” and the ultimate fanboy who worked his way into the inner circle. Though the story is told largely from his perspective, it still strikes a thoughtful balance in examining who did right, who did wrong, and what it means to protect the group’s image and legacy.
