@sylidar I think a decent part of it is lore as well, I feel like DTR has a lot of really good lore dropping and ALC/MRC had interesting lore as well. AMB/HVN I feel like the lore is more scattered, although it's my favorite set aesthetically. Probably also region demographics

@ResoluteJun When I was a teen, I played a little YuGiOh, but I wouldn't say that's what really got me into TCGs.
When Baldur's Gate 3 came out, I thought Astarion was hot, he also has a MtG card so.. I got into commander! Then I didn't like the monetization model of MtG here I am now

@sylidar Actually tbh 1-2 is probably better. I think it's a good tool to be able to help less represented champs or ones that don't fit with theming but maybe a better solution would be to make some sort of mini set for them or something along those lines. Mat deck fills up fast

@sylidar 2-3 per season for non meta related ones (helping out old champs, etc) and as needed for more "hotfix" ones that are meta related imo.

i think regardless of how the entire twitter migration thing turns out for the platform, i'll probably be leaving twitter after stuff settles down. twitter specifically brings back bad memories for me and i feel hesitant (or even afraid) to tweet a lot of the time.
