Shri Rahul Gandhi’s press conference today was triggered by the untouchability Shri Mallikarjun @kharge was subjected to. But its message was much bigger.

It was about the dignity of Dalits across India — and the need to end the discrimination and dehumanisation they continue to face.

This sounds like a message that no person in their right mind could oppose.

Yet, almost immediately, the entire Right Wing ecosystem — so-called “intellectuals” and trolls alike — began poking holes in his message.

This is what the BJP has done to India: poisoned public discourse to such an extent that even a call for human dignity is reduced to a partisan battle.

They should know: they are not damaging Rahul Gandhi. They are exposing the rotten content of their own character.

अब गेंद BJP के पाले में है - जल्द से जल्द SC-ST क़ानून के तहत FIR दर्ज हो, कार्रवाई हो और न्याय हो - वरना कांग्रेस पार्टी न्याय हासिल करना अच्छे से जानती है।

बिहार के छात्रों का सवाल बहुत सीधा है - भर्ती परीक्षाओं में गड़बड़ी क्यों? पेपर लीक के आरोपों पर कार्रवाई क्यों नहीं? और युवाओं के भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ कब तक?

BPSC की परीक्षाओं का विवाद आज का नहीं है। छात्र लंबे समय से भर्ती प्रक्रिया, परीक्षा पैटर्न, देरी और पार���र्शिता को लेकर सड़कों पर हैं।

पर सरकार जवाब देने के बजाय कर क्या रही है? लाठी और वॉटर कैनन चला रही है। छात्रों को हिरासत में ले रही है। सीवान में तो प्रदर्शनकारियों पर AK 47 द्वारा गोलीबारी तक सामने आई।

यह सिर्फ़ पुलिस की कार्रवाई का सवाल नहीं। यह उस BJP सरकार की मानसिकता का सवाल है, जिसके पास जवाब नहीं हैं - इसलिए वह पुलिस को जवाबदेही से बचने का हथियार बना रही है।

BJP सरकार यह समझ ले - लाठी से सवाल नहीं रुकते। डराकर किसी का भविष्य नहीं छीना जा सकता।

बिहार के छात्र सवाल पूछते रहेंगे। और अब सिर्फ़ जवाब नहीं - जवाबदेही चाहिए।
