During a meeting with Alexander Stubb @alexstubb, we exchanged details of our meetings in the United States and discussed the current prospects in diplomacy. Clearly, Russia is suffering heavy losses on the battlefield, while the situation in its economy is also becoming more difficult. Alex commended our success with long-range sanctions. At the same time, we are doing everything possible to provide greater protection for Ukrainians from Russian strikes. I am grateful for his thorough understanding of our needs. Missiles for the Patriots are needed literally every day.
We also spoke about diplomacy. We are preparing for important meetings in August. Thank you, Alex!
Every year at this time, we in Ukraine honor the memory of our people who were killed in Russian captivity. On the night of July 28–29, the Russians massacred our people in Olenivka – brutally, callously, with absolute cynicism. More than 50 Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed, and over 100 were wounded. This is one of those war crimes that shows what Russia truly is. It is a state that completely disregards human life, an absolute evil that cannot refrain from killing.
We must always remember who we are dealing with. We must bring all our people home from Russian captivity – military personnel and civilians. It is important that Ukraine is not alone in this effort and that our friends around the world are helping us through their mediation. Since the start of the full-scale war, we have already succeeded in bringing 9,613 people home from Russian captivity. We remember every one of those who remain in captivity.
We will not forget a single crime committed against our people. Eternal memory to all those who lost their lives because of Russian evil. Eternal gratitude to everyone who is helping free our people and protect lives.
Apparently JD Vance is excluded from the meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy at the White House.
Good.
He was an absolute disgrace last time.
A nasty bully, berating an ally.
NEVER VANCE
"We’re going to bring this heroic young man, and his family, into the White House with, perhaps, the boy he saved, to give him a High Civilian Honor. Very brave, he deserves it!" - President Donald J. Trump 🇺🇸🇺
A good meeting with President Trump @POTUS at the Oval Office. Thank you for everything we do together to protect the lives of Ukrainians and advance peace. First and foremost, I offered President Trump our condolences on the passing of Lindsey Graham. He was a true friend of Ukraine.
The President and I discussed licenses for Patriot interceptor production and several other ideas that could help. We also spoke about diplomacy – it’s important that the diplomatic process be reinvigorated. Our teams will arrange the details of their further communication. I am grateful to the United States for its firm support.
Another hot morning in Moscow as Russian air defenses once again fail miserably, unable to prevent Ukrainian drones from striking targets in several areas.
A logistics facility in Kolyadino finds nirvana
🇺🇦🤝🇩🇪 Ukraine is building a long-term, mutually beneficial defense partnership with Germany.
Acting Defense Minister Evgeniy Khmara met Ambassador Heiko Thoms and asked to accelerate deliveries of interceptors capable of countering ballistic threats.
Protecting the sky remains critical.
"On behalf of Ukrainian warriors, I thank Germany and Ambassador Thoms personally for their consistent support of Ukraine." — Evgeniy Khmara
Nearly 200 Democrats voted to ALLOW Members of Congress to participate in shady stock trading and voted AGAINST requiring voter ID at the polls.
These things prevent corruption and are COMMON SENSE.
Democrats are on the wrong side EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Last night, our long-range sanctions were effective in the Rostov region. An export terminal approximately 250 kilometers from the front line was hit. Deep strikes also targeted oil facilities in the Yaroslavl region and the Udmurt Republic, which is 1,300 kilometers from Ukraine's state border. We are carrying out our plan of long-range sanctions and reducing Russia's ability to finance the war.
I thank our warriors of Ukraine’s Defense Forces for their precise work in areas that, until quite recently, were deep in the Russian rear. Through our responses, we are bringing the war back to Russia so that, ultimately, a dignified peace has a chance — @ZelenskyyUa
I have already arrived in the United States. Our schedule includes meetings with President Trump, his team, and those who can support our defense. Our number-one priority is anti-ballistic defense and strategic cooperation with America. Peace needs to be brought closer.
Of course, on behalf of all of Ukraine, we will honor the memory of Senator Lindsey Graham. Together with everyone attending the ceremony in Washington, we will remember his commitment to security and freedom across the transatlantic community and around the world.
Thank you to everyone who helps protect lives!

Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Andy Burnham @andyburnham and I met with Ukrainian and British sailors in Portsmouth. They had just completed the multinational Sea Breeze exercises together. It is very important that our units have demonstrated a high level of preparedness in maritime demining. Our country is drawing ever closer to the NATO countries, and there is no doubt that our Navy – and the Armed Forces as a whole – are contributing to our shared security in Europe through their knowledge and skills. I thank our warriors for their service and professionalism. I am grateful to the United Kingdom and to all our partners for their support.
Arrived in the United Kingdom. My schedule includes meetings with Prime Minister Andy Burnham @andyburnham, as well as with our warriors who are currently in the UK, including those who took part in the Sea Breeze exercises.
Over the years of the full-scale war, we have built the strongest relationship in the entire history of cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The key priorities are air defense, maritime security, and joint defense production – our cooperation that strengthens both countries. We value that we can always count on Britain's principled decisions, leadership, and support.
We will continue working to further strengthen our partnership and enhance the security of our countries.
