Silencing expression is what the BJP does best. But in doing so, they have only exposed their own insecurities.

A government that fears freedom of speech and expression has forgotten the very essence of democracy.

The power of truth and courage will always prevail.

Yet another shocking killing in broad daylight in Tarn Taran district — 3rd in just 16 days. This is a disturbing reflection of a system where fear is increasingly becoming part of everyday life.

How are criminal networks and illegal firearms being allowed to flourish, terrorising people openly without any fear of consequences?

While these networks continue to threaten public safety, the AAP government appears more focused on post-incident damage control and protecting its public image than on addressing the root causes of deteriorating law-and-order situation.

The mass leave protest by government employees in Punjab raises serious questions about the @BhagwantMann government’s handling of their concerns.

State government employees are being forced to take this extreme step due to AAP’s apathy towards their demands and the lack of meaningful engagement to resolve their concerns.

AAP promised “Badlaav”, but Punjab is witnessing the exact opposite.

Last evening, I visited the family of Congress Block President, Shri Gurmail Singh, who was killed a year ago.

Gangster and gun violence remain among the most serious challenges facing Punjab.

When criminals can openly target people, it raises serious questions about the state’s policing and intelligence machinery. Both the AAP and BJP governments must answer for their failure to ensure the safety of Punjab’s people.

Punjab cannot let fear and gun voilence become the new normal.

Met the families of Late Shri Ravi Dhillon and Bedi Medical Store in Dera Baba Nanak. The two brutal killing related to extortion is yet another disturbing reminder of the deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab.

Public confidence in safety and security in Punjab is at rock bottom.

The people of Punjab deserve peace, security, and a government that keeps them safe.

Punjab is witnessing a worrying collapse of law and order. The killing of Shri Ashwani Devgan, an AAP Sarpanch in Tarn Taran, shows how fearless criminals have become.

Illegal weapons and drugs have penetrated deep into Punjab, with little accountability from the government. The failure of both the BJP and AAP governments to ensure border security and internal safety demands answers. Law and order is the government’s fundamental responsibility.

The families we’ve visited continue to face threats, with inadequate witness protection. There can be no excuses or political blame games when it comes to the deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab.

Met the grieving family of Shri Jagdeep Singh, a government school teacher, who was brutally murdered in broad daylight in June 2026.

The safety of Punjab’s people cannot be compromised, and the AAP government must be held accountable for maintaining law and order.

Amritsar, Punjab: On Law and Order in the State, Congress leader Sachin Pilot says, "We are visiting homes where people have lost their lives, where people have been killed in broad daylight in open shootouts, and this cycle of death in Punjab shows no signs of stopping. Not only has the spread of drugs like 'Chitta' become widespread everywhere, but crime here has also gone completely uncontrolled. Gangsters have dominant control, running extortion rackets, demanding ransoms, and blackmailing people over phone calls. The victims' families are not getting justice; they continue to receive threats, witnesses are turning hostile, and people are left running endlessly around courts living in constant fear..."
