There is an aspect to mass bombing of Ukraine that the Western folks who do not closely follow the war might not know but that Russians are well aware of and Ukrainians know from their own experience. The constant overnight mass bombing causes sleep deprivation. It is not possible to sleep peacefully through the night with air raid alerts.

Sleep deprivation is a form of torture. It was widely used as such by all oppressive regimes and governments, dictatorships and satrapies.

Russia is torturing Ukraine non-stop for the last one year and three months. Through no fault of your own and whether you're Ukrainian or "ethnically Russian" citizen of Ukraine who are in Ukraine, and no matter where your allegiances are, what age you are, 70 or 3 months, Russia is torturing you through sleep deprivation. Think about it. These last shellings and bombings continue for three weeks every night. Three weeks without a single night's full sleep. And in the morning, you have to go to work and attend to your other obligations.

Why is Russia still on the @UN Security Council? When are we kicking Putinist Russia out of the @UN Security Council?

Where are ATACMS and F-16 for Ukraine? What is Ukraine supposed to down the planes and destroy launchers with?

Why is the world allowing Russia to torture Ukrainians en masse like this? Give Ukraine tomahawks and put boots on the ground if necessary. Shut down Russian sports participation and businesses. Kick out the academics justifying Russian aggression. Take away capitals from Russia. Make Russia collapse and turn to its own problems.
